Beverley is an experienced registered midwife and lactation consultant. She trained in the UK as a direct entry midwife in 2000. She moved to Perth in 2004 with my husband and two children and started working at St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital, where she worked until 2023. Whilst working as a midwife at Mount Lawley, Bev trained and qualified as a lactation consultant in 2008. She then combined both roles, working with women and their babies on the maternity unit and in an outpatient setting, which she continues to do at St John of God Subiaco part-time. Bev has also worked as a lactation consultant for One for Women and Perth Pregnancy Centre.

Bev has two children who have now grown up and have left home, leaving her and her husband as “empty nesters” looking forward to our retirement and the prospect of grandbabies! When she is not working Bev likes dining out, going to the gym, or relaxing with a nice glass of bubbles.
