Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) Curtin University 2012. Advanced Dry Needling Practitioner. Currently completing Clinical Masters Degree in Continence and Pelvic Health through Curtin University.
Mirella offers experience in both inpatient and outpatient setting and has a passion for orthopaedic surgery, particularly rehabilitation post joint replacement. Mirella also has a keen focus on the prevention and management of sporting injuries, developed over 10years experience with clubs including Perth Glory FC and WA State Representative Soccer Teams. Mirella has also trained in Pilates for Rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates Australia.
Mirella enjoys supporting women through the antenatal and postnatal periods and understands the importance of setting realistic goals and developing a client-centred approach to rehabilitation. Mirella has recently become a mum to two beautiful little girls herself and is excited to draw on that experience in her therapy.
Mirella is currently studying her postgraduate Clinical Masters in Continence and Pelvic Health at Curtin University and is passionate about supporting women experiencing pelvic health concerns.
